Enrollment Process

To enroll your child in our tutoring or childcare services contact us at msjamie@expressionsoflearning.com  and schedule an orientation.  During the orientation, paper work is distributed and you must fill it out and return it at the first scheduled visit.

 

Payment

Payment is due in advance to hold clients time slot. A monthly invoice will be sent out via email before the first of the month and payment will be received on the first visit of the month.

 

Discipline Policies

Children are treated with Respect! Disciplinary actions are done in a respectful manner that include redirection, distractions, reasoning, and in extreme cases a little break.

 

Injury or illness policies and procedures

Your child’s health and safety is our number one priority. We strive to take all precautions including washing hands and maintaining our own good health. If your child should run a temperature of 101 degrees +, seem irritable, or in pain you will be notified and must return home as soon as possible.  There is no refund for missed hours.

 

Emergency Policies

Your child’s safety is our number one priority, in the rare event of an emergence the parent authorizes Expressions of Learning to take every precaution including CPR, first aid and, when appropriate, 911 emergency services.  Parents will be contacted as soon as possible to be notified of the situation and incident reports are always kept on file.

 

Cancellation Policies and Procedures

Parents must cancel 24 hours or more in advance of the scheduled appointment or full amount will be paid. Additionally, you are allowed one reschedule a month, but this does not carry over from month to month. To cancel please notify Expressions of Learning by phone at (703)895-5569 or email to msjamie@expressionsoflearning.com .

 

Medication Policies

Not at any time will an employee of Expressions of Learning administer medications of any kind without written consent from a parent and a doctor.  A medication form must be on file and parents must fill out daily medication tracker (Copy available from Expressions of Learning website).
